Directions

The Avon valley is a centre of communications, offering trunk road, railway, canal and bicycle access into Bath and the picturesque River Avon itself, which is used at this point by Monkton Combe School for rowing practice, at the point where the Dundas Aqueduct crosses the Avon. The house has fully gated and fenced vehicular access to the A36, enabling the centre of Bath to be reached in 10 minutes. To the rear, a gate opens onto the Kennet & Avon canal and towpath for immediate pedestrian or bicycling access. Further along the A36, a Texaco garage and Spar shop offer convenient facilities.

Travelling on the A36 towards Bath from the South you will cross over the Dundas viaduct and pass a Texaco garage on your right where the convenience store is. Further along is a layby on your right and Pendragon House can be found, also on your right, one hundred metres further on behind the large black security gates.

Travelling on the A36 from Bath you will hit open countryside for 4 miles or so passing signs for Claverton, the road will begin to bend with high trees on your left, blocking your view of the gorgeous valley. Approximately one and a half miles after Claverton you will see a sign for Pendragon House on your left... and the entrance to the house is the set of black security gates set into stone pillars. If you see the Texaco garage you have gone too far and will need to turn around.
